Atlanta will soon be home to another unique mass timber office building, Waldo's.
Working closely with architect TVSDesign and general contractor Shell McElroy, StructureCraft is pleased to be involved on the team as the structural engineer of record and builder. This new office building in Atlanta's Old Fourth Ward neighbourhood will have six-storeys of mass timber gravity structure and steel brace lateral system (6-stories of mass timber built with DLT panels on Glulam substructure).
With the warmth of exposed interior wood, Waldo's will promote productivity, functionality, creativity and occupant well-being. The spaces will showcase the elegance of efficient, well-detailed timber.
The building connects to a 147-key boutique Hilton Hotel (Motto), 9 town homes, and a variety of restaurants.
