Kellogg Middle School

We are excited to present the first project to use Acoustic DLT in the US, designed by Mahlum Architects. This new middle school in Shoreline, Washington uses the roof panels over the entry/commons area as well as the library. The panels not only address the structural requirements, but offer a beautiful finish ceiling with acoustic attenuation (NRC noise-reduction class of 0.70).

Integrated between each panel is a linear chase, up to 11" wide, that houses conduits and lighting.

We also procured and installed the Douglas Fir Glulam Beams which span over the steel posts, to provide a beautiful, light aesthetic for student and visitor alike.
