Avon Footbridge

This pedestrian bridge, consisting of a grid of gapped 2x4s for the floor, walls and roof, is a main feature of Avon Village Park. Constructed of uncoated Ipe (Ironwood) dimensional lumber, the entire 10-foot-wide structure was prefabricated in our shop in Delta, BC and trucked to the site in one piece. The bridge was erected in an afternoon.
