Avon Footbridge

This pedestrian bridge design, consisting of a grid of gapped 2 x 4's for the floor, walls and roof is a main feature of the Avon Village Park. Constructed of uncoated Ipe (Ironwood) dimensional lumber, the entire 10 foot wide structure was prefabricated in our shop in Delta, BC and trucked to the site in one piece. The bridge was erected in an afternoon.
