Engineer-Build
A two-storey structure comprising 9,000 sq. ft. of space, the Shanghai "Dream Home" Wood Presentation Centre includes a large two-storey-high exhibit area, seminar room, library, and second floor offices. All structural components were manufactured and, in part, prefabricated in British Columbia. The intention of this project was to demonstrate both conventional BC-wood applications, as well as the versatility and ability of wood to be used in non-conventional applications.
