Lo Residence - Roof

The 2,500 square foot wood roof structure caps the concrete and steel residence below, floating just above the thin glazed clear-storey. The sleek 3D form is designed as a plywood-and-rib stressed skin structure. The seven roof segments were prefabricated in our shop to ensure accuracy, and erected on site in three days. A glass and steel internal bridge was also designed and fabricated by StructureCraft.
