The Event Center at Metropolitan Park

Metropolitan Park's two office buildings represent the first phase of Amazon's new headquarters in Arlington, Virginia. Located at the southwest corner of the site, the double-height event center is a signature element of this new development. Long Glulam beams span nearly 80 feet to support the center's sawtooth skylight structure and vegetative roof. Cross Laminated Timber roof panels are exposed at the ceiling to create a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The timber roof also supports rigging, acoustical baffles, and other stage equipment.

We are thrilled to have furnished and installed the timber elements for this project and are honored to work alongside builder Clark Construction Group, and designer ZGF, to deliver this one-of-a-kind space.
