Dawson City Water Treatment Plant
Dlt Acoustic Roof Panels
StructureCraft supplied the DLT panels for the sloped roofs at the Dawson City Water Treatment Plant. We utilized our acoustic DLT panel profile, to help reduce the noise of the plant operations. These 2x10 and 2x6 DLT panels have achieved an NRC (noise reduction coefficient) of 0.70, helping the architect achieve their required sound absorption within the exposed structure.
As can be seen in the photos below, our acoustic DLT profile utilizes insulation material between each board, which absorbs sound and still allows the surface of the timber to be visible. This can eliminate the need for expensive, acoustic drop ceilings or wall treatments.
